STEP 01 — Project overview

Assembly Requirements

MODULE INVENTORY (5 COMPONENTS)

This project focused on enabling a community-driven learning experience where interaction and participation play a central role. Rather than treating community features as a secondary layer, the platform was designed around structured member interaction, ongoing engagement through a feed, and flexible access control.

Our scope concentrated on designing and delivering the systems that allow the community to function, scale, and remain manageable over time.

STEP 02 — CHALLENGES IDENTIFIED

Assembly Requirements

MODULE INVENTORY (5 COMPONENTS)
REQUIRED CAPABILITIES
A
#checked
Engagement. Enable continuous interaction without overwhelming users, using a feed that surfaces relevant content and encourages participation.
B
#checked
Structure. Design a community model that clearly defines roles, access rules, and participation boundaries while remaining flexible.
C
#checked
Scalability. Ensure the system supports growth in members, content, and moderation needs without increasing operational complexity.

Solution Architecture

MODULE INVENTORY (3 COMPONENTS)
MODULE 3.1
● Community system

A structured community model built around roles, participation rules, and visibility logic. This system allows members to interact within clearly defined boundaries while remaining flexible enough to support community growth.

MODULE 3.2
● Engagement feed

The engagement feed acts as the primary interaction layer of the platform. It enables members to stay informed, participate in discussions, and engage with updates through predictable and intuitive interaction patterns.

MODULE 3.3
● Subscription infrastructure

Wooskill operates on a subscription-based model similar to platforms such as Patreon, where users subscribe to individual skillers and receive different access levels depending on their subscription tier.

As part of this project, our work focused on designing and implementing the backend subscription infrastructure that supports tiered access, entitlement logic, and seamless integration with the rest of the platform.

The implemented infrastructure enables reliable access control, permissions management, and provides a solid foundation for future subscription-related features.

Flowchart showing user subscription tiers: Tier 1 Basic with public content, Tier 2 Premium with exclusive content, and Tier 3 VIP with live sessions, leading to entitlement logic for access control and platform integration.
