STEP 01 — Project overview

Assembly Requirements

MODULE INVENTORY (5 COMPONENTS)

Blade is an innovative digital wallet designed to serve as a simple and intuitive portal into Web3.

Most Web3 platforms are complex, require extensive onboarding, and rely on traditional authentication flows. Blade was envisioned as the opposite — a wallet that requires no sign-in, no explanation, and integrates seamlessly into existing workflows.

Unibrix joined as a deeply augmented product and engineering team to help shape the vision, define the architecture, and deliver a production-ready Web3 wallet.

Primary focus

STEP 02 — CHALLENGES IDENTIFIED

Assembly Requirements

MODULE INVENTORY (5 COMPONENTS)
REQUIRED CAPABILITIES
A
#checked
Engagement. Web3 products often overwhelm users with technical complexity, creating high adoption barriers for non-technical audiences.
B
#checked
Structure. The wallet needed to function without classic login flows, relying solely on blockchain addresses while maintaining security and reliability.
C
#checked
Scalability. The platform had to integrate with multiple decentralized protocols and support enterprise use cases built on predictable fiat logic.

STEP 03 — ASSEMBLY PROCESS

Solution Architecture

MODULE INVENTORY (4 COMPONENTS)
MODULE 3.1
● FOUNDATIONAL DISCOVERY

The team explored multiple blockchain approaches and selected Directed Acyclic Graph (DAG) technology via Hedera Hashgraph to support performance, scalability, and enterprise requirements.

Flowchart showing blockchain research process with sections on technology research, evaluation criteria, and technology selection highlighting Hedera Hashgraph as selected DAG protocol with benefits like asynchronous consensus, low fees, fair ordering, and energy efficiency.
MODULE 3.2
● PRODUCT DESIGN

Clean, minimal interfaces were designed to hide Web3 complexity, allowing users to interact with decentralized systems intuitively across mobile and browser environments.

Design principles and dark mode mobile wallet interface showing $3,794.51 total balance with crypto assets and buy crypto options with amount input fields.
MODULE 3.3
● CORE PLATFORM

Two mobile applications for iOS and Android were delivered within tight timelines, featuring account data, transaction history, and token galleries. Browser extensions were developed to extend wallet functionality into everyday Web3 usage scenarios.

The platform architecture was designed with enterprise-grade security and long-term scalability in mind.

Flowchart showing user subscription tiers: Tier 1 Basic with public content, Tier 2 Premium with exclusive content, and Tier 3 VIP with live sessions, leading to entitlement logic for access control and platform integration.
